Product Description
The Johnson Controls DX-9100-8454 (DX91008454) is a Metasys DX series extended digital controller. The digital controller has a voltage of 24 VAC and a frequency of 50/60 Hz, with the number of outputs at 17 points. The DX-9100-8545 has eight analog input, eight analog output, eight digital input, and six digital output module ports. The size in height, width, and depths is 7.9in x 7.2in x 3.9in (in metric units, it is 200mm x 184mm x 100mm).The DX-9100-8454 extended digital controller being a version two of the DX-9100 series, has a N2 Bus and a XT Bus communication link. The N2 Bus link is utilized in order to interact with a managerial unit. XT Bus permits the 9100-8454 to augment input and output potentiality by interacting with up to eight XT-9100 or XTM-905 units. This interacting potentiality can be increased further to 64 remote input output, analog or digital units, but this is determined by what type of extension module it is connected with.
The DX-9100-8454 can be mounted with the panel plate belonging to the digital controller or it may be mounted by the DIN rail. The DX-9100-8454 digital controller can be mounted and connected with the field wiring prior to its installation.
On the XT Bus communication link, up to eight extension controller and a limit of 64 input output controllers can be hooked to a RS-485 port. Also on the DX-9100-8454 extended digital controller, is a RS232-C port that can be employed for local downloading and transmitting software via N2 Bus link.
