Product Description

The Beijer E1022 (E-1022) is an operator interface panel from the E1000 series. This panel has the following dimensions. The front panel is 155mm by 155mm by 6 mm (6.1in by 6.1in by 0.24in). The area on the front panel that is actually displayed is 90.2mm by 24.0mm (3.55in by 0.94in). The screen display of the E1022 is made of FSTN (Film compensated Super Twisted Nematic) LCD. That is a STN LCD with a retardation film that is implemented making a black and white contrast display. The contrast is much greater than that of the STN or TN LCD.

The keyboard on the E1022 is overlaid with an Autotex F207 film which is a fine film with 7-series ink primer whose gauge is 200µm. The reverse side of the material is finished with powder-coated aluminum. The front panel is then sealed to an IP rating of IP66. This signifies that the E1022 is entirely dust tight and is safeguarded from high pressure jets that are directed at the operator interface panel. The rear panel is also protected with an IP rating of IP20 against finger contact or contact with large objects. The ambient temperature for the E1022 should range from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius to protect all the functions of the interface terminal.

The E1022 has two ports: a RS-422/RS-482 serial port and a RS-232C serial port. Connection is made by the use of the Ethernet system by the utilization of the Ethernet expansion module mounted on the back end of the E1022.
