The Mitsubishi HF-KP23B (HFKP23B) is a 200W HF series AC servo motor with brake. The torque of the servo motor with brake is 0.64 (N x m) or 90.6 (oz x in) while the greatest torque that is granted 1.9 (N x m) or 269 (oz x in) when it is not being increased. The average speed of the servo motor with brake is normally 3000rpm, although this speed is allowed to be doubled, being 6000rpm. Even for a short time the HF-KP23B servo motor with brake can be pushed to perform at a speed of 6900rpm. Also, the moment of inertia for this servo motor with brake is 0.31 J(x10^-4kg x m^2) or 1.69 J(oz x in^2).

The four servo amplifiers that may attach to the HF-KP23B servo motor with brake are the MR-J3-20A, MR-J3-20B, MR-J3-20B-RJ006, and MR-J3-20T. These may be simply attached to the CN2 port of any one of the available servo amplifiers wherever it is positioned. Then, specifically for the MR-J3-20A servo amplifier, the servo motor with brake may also connect to the CNP3 (U, V, W) connector which is the bottommost connector for its power supply. The connection must be made at this servo amplifier’s CNP3 connector which is positioned exactly as the former servo amplifier.

This HF-KP23B servo motor with brake is a low inertia motor, letting it be applied to multiple mechanism.
