The Mitsubishi HC-SFS702BK (HCSFS702BK) is a 7kW Melservo HC series servo motor with a brake and key. This servo motor has a speed that is rated to be 2000rpm, this speed generally is not permitted to operate at a faster besides the exception in which it may momentarily obtain a speed of 2300rpm. The moment of inertia is 160 J(x10^-4kg x m^2) or 875 J(oz x in^2), and it is rated so because it has a brake. The HC-SFS702BK servo motor with brake key has a current of 35.0A, but it may be even greater, that is 105.0A. The torque is generally 33.4 (N x m) or 4729.4 (oz x in) but it may function at a greater rate at 100 (N x m) or 14160 (oz x in).

The HC-SFS702BK servo motor with a brake and key can link with a few servo amplifiers; they are the MR-J2S-700A, MR-J2S-700CP, MR-J2S-700B, and MR-J2S-700CL. There are a few approaches to linking the servo motor to the servo amplifier. One way is to link the encoder from the servo motor with the CN2 port. This may be done by linking an encoder cable which serves as an intermediary link between these two products. The HC-SFS702Bk servo motor with brake and key may also link to the selected amplifier by a power supply cable. When linking the cable to a servo amplifier (any which might be nominated), the power supply cable must splinter its wires between the U, V, and W screw terminals that are on the servo amplifier. This unites the servo motor with the power supply.
