Product Description
The Omron CJ1W-DRM21 (CJ1WDRM21) is a CJ1 control module with DeviceNet. This control module can only work in an Omron configuration. This may be connected to a remote Input output terminal if the DRT2 series that acts as a slave in the master/slave relationship. This DRT2 may connect with a myriad of other DRT2-series terminals using the DeviceNet system whose provenance is in the CJ1W-DRM21 control module. All these control module terminals act as smart slaves for a personal computer that behaves as a DeviceNet configuring for the entire system.The CJ1W-DRM21 control module has a communication connector at the base of the module. This connector attached this control module the network by a cable. The power for the communication of this module is contributed by this connection to this connector. Above the connector is a 4-pin DIP switch. Pin 1 and 2 control the baud rate, while pin 3 can resume or cease communications when there is error if the CJ1W-DRM21 module is being employed as a master, finally the 4th pin can hold or clear inputs and outputs for communication errors if the module is used as a slave. Lastly, above that there are three switches: a unit number switch and two node address switch. The unit switch sets the will set the unit number that the CJ1W-DRM21 is within the configuration. The node switches manage the node address.
The CJ1W-DRM21 control module has a power supply voltage whose ambit is between 11 to 25VDC. The current consumption is 18mA for communications and 290mA for the internal circuit.
