Product Description
The Omron CQM1-OD212 (CQM1OD212) is a CQM1 series output control module with 16 transistor points. This control module has a terminal block that has 18 screw terminals which are called A0-A8 and B0-B8. The CQM1-OD212 control module also has 16 output points which means that every point must be produced by a corresponding screw terminal except for the last two, that is, A8 and B8. A8 is a COM terminal while B8 is a (+) voltage. These points all generate from one circuit.The CQM1-OD212 output control module has a maximum switching capacity of 50mA when it is at 4.5VDC all the way to 300mA at 26.4VDC and the internal consumption of the module is 170mA when it is at 5VDC. The power supply for this output control module is a 40mA at minimum, this is because it has 2.5mA for every point on (there are 16 output points) at a voltage of 24VDC ±10%. Lastly, some other specifications of the CQM1-OD212 are it leakage current, residual voltage, and its delays. The leakage current of the module is at 0.1mA maximum and a residual current of 0.8mA. There are both ON and OFF delays, the ON delay is 0.1ms at most and its OFF delay is 0.4ms.
The CQM1-OD212 control module when it is in an Omron configuration must be situated next to a CPU module or some other specialized input output modules. The output module is attached to other modules by the connectors which are built-in to the side of the module and are secured by its sliders.
