Product Description
The Omron CJ1W-TC002 (CJ1WTC002) is a CJ1 series temperature control module with 8 input output points. This control module has a temperature (thermocouple) sensor with various input types: R, S, K, J, T, L, and B. These input types have these specific temperature ranges: ‘R’ and ‘S’ range from 0 to 1,700 degrees Celsius; ‘K’, from -200 to 1,300 degrees Celsius; ‘J’ and ‘L, from -100 to 850 degrees Celsius; ‘T’, from, -200 to 400 degrees Celsius; and ‘B’, from 100 to 1,800 degrees Celsius.The CJ1W-TC002 control module has two number switches indicating the number the unit is in the system and an input type switch. As some of its external features the four loop control module has a DIP switch and output indicators. There is also a terminal block on the CJ1W-TC002 that has 18 screw terminal, eight of which are responsible for the input (+) and (-), equaling 4 input points; there are four output terminals four output points; two more terminals are utilized as cold-junction comp. then there are two N.C. terminals and a 0V and a 24V terminal.
This temperature control module can be one of 10 units per rack of a CPU rack or expansion backplane. This control module is only compatible with the CJ system when connecting to an Omron configuration. The control module with a thermocouple sensor must connect with a power supply and module or at least a unit with a power supply. Connections are made by the connectors that are positioned on the side of the control module and are secured by the slider on the top and bottom of the module.
