Product Description

The Omron CJ1W-TC101 (CJ1WTC101) is a CJ1 series temperature control module with 8 points. This control module uses a platinum resistance thermometer sensor with input types JPt100 and Pt100. The set value ‘0’ is for the Pt100 input and the set value ‘1’ is for the JPt100 input type. Set values ‘2’ to ‘9’ are not to be used because they are unable to set the sensor to any input type. Both the Pt100 and the JPt100 input types of the CJ1W-TC101 have a temperature control range spanning from -200 to 650 degrees Celsius (-300 to 1,200 degree Fahrenheit).

The CJ1W-TC101 temperature control module has 8 input output points in its 18 screw removable terminal block. There are three input terminal per input point with a total of 4 point. Screw terminals A1-A6 and B1-B6 are utilized as input terminals. Terminals A7-A8 and B7-B8 are output used for the output points, which there are 4 of. Lastly, in the screw terminals of the CJ1W-TC101 control module the B9 terminal is a 0V COM (-) and the A9 is a 24V terminal. The outputs are NPN (Negative-Positive-Negative) and have four loops.

The CJ1W-TC101 control module can configure with the CJ system alone. It is capable of conforming to either a CPU rack or an expansion backplane. The CPU rack may hold up to 10 units and likewise with the expansion backplane per backplane. Connections with other Omron modules, specifically a CPU and maybe a power supply, are made by the useful connectors positioned on the side of the temperature module. Connections are then secured by sliders.
